Well well well, received many similar comments regarding 'Ballroom performance round' and that's good! =)
Anyway, just want to state one point... I THINK THIS COMPETITION IS SO SO UNFAIR. Those who agrees with me please raise your hand...
What are the genres to compete in?
1) Rock & Roll
2) Disco
3) Asian theme
4) Modern/ comtemp
5) Ballroom
Wait a Minute!!! Where's Hip Hop theme?? I seriously pity JDI cos there's no hip hop genre for them to shine and wow the audience. Please share my sentiments... I mean...seriously...where's the fainess in this competition?
Week after week, its not the weakest group who goes home... even the bottom 3 ain't really the lousiest 3 of the week. What is happening to reality show? Is it competition only for competitors who has the financial abilities to support themselves thoughout the show? Or is it supposed to be a show of Talent. Personally for me, its definitely not the latter...
Funny how the Ballroom couples are able to survive till now while Hip hop groups like Styles from Beyond, Break FOrce Crew are out of the competition?
Let me do the breakdown:
3 ballroom - Melvin & Sharon, Vas and Pris, Batucadas
3 Hip Hop -BFC, SFB, JDI
4 Modern/contemp - Soul Fusion, E Squared, F4, Platinum
*those in red has been ousted*
Look how many Hip hop groups have been eliminated from the competition? 2. Now its left with JDI.
Oh well, anyway, i've clarified myself and stated my stand: I SUPORT HIP HOP THEME! GO JDI! But sadly, there won't be one for the fact that the competion isn't very fair till now...

Gotta disagree with you on this one again.
Even if hip hop was the first one, I doubt it will make any difference. To me, Only Styles from Beyond stand out. I'm kinda surprised they got voted out. Don't deserve to.
I don't think we can use themes as a basis of unfairness. Everyone goes through this together. One week, it may be their genre or forte, the other it might not be.
The only unfair thing about the competition is perhaps, voting based on financial capability. The rich might have an advantage.
Then again, does that mean that free voting will ensure fairness? That's hard to say. A group with a strong enthusiastic and willing fan base might stay in the competition long even if they are not that good.
Reality shows will always have a degree of unfairness. We have to accept this.
Actually you know what is the biggest injustice in the competition?
RE was out too early! A pity.

Anyway, maybe having a hip hop theme won't make a difference. And we can't use themes as a basis of fairness. However the competition should cater to the different groups shouldn't it? By leaving out hiphop, JDI won't have a chance to shine...
I thought Melvin and Sharon as well as Vas and pris did a very good job for ballroom. However we should give credits to other non-ballroom dancers who has had no training in the genre. I think they tried their best =)
Let's just hope that the final winner for this competition is a well- deserving one who has done relatively well in ALL genres... (*hint hint... Soul fusion)

Good clever dancers like you and elson deserve some credit.
You guys are one of the four groups that captured my imagination the most, while the rest being Soul Fusion, Vas & Pris and Freestylers.
You guys and Freestylers were out too early. Wasted!
Definitely Soul Fusion got my vote of confidence for being the best in terms of techniques and versatility. Hopefully voters can recognize this.

anyway,i so agree witcha.how cum there's no hip hop theme?those ballroom dancers obviously won e voters cos they cn choreograph well as its their genres,hence they are able to stay out thru e comptn.
i tink it does make a dffrnt if dere were to be a hip hop genre.den we can really see which grp is actually the best,who can reali go wif any genres.i cn see alot of e hip hop grps which've gt a very gd choreography skills,like bfc.i've been a fan of dem even b4 dancefloor.but it was a pity dey were eliminated really early.
anyway,i wish to see RE perform again.u guys are equally great;))
